Ahem! I'll be reading from and discussing my upcoming book, Have You Found Her, at the Mid-Manhattan Library next Monday, for an hour, thank you.
Monday, October 29, 6:30 p.m., free
Mid-Manhattan Library, Fifth Avenue and 40th Street
Me, all me, just me, for a long time. Then a Q & A. With me.
Also, Friday, November 9, 8:30, free
Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art, West 17th Street at Seventh Avenue
I'll be at Talkingstick, a storytelling show based on artwork and artifacts in the Rubin Museum. With Rick Patrick, Master Lee, and the docents of the museum. A great opportunity to see this beautiful museum, and hear some art at the same time. Multi-tasking, sort of.

I don’t know if you got the comment I was working on when I accidentally closed the window. My old band mate Florence Yoo mentioned your blog in her latest. This very day I was pondering such a dilemma. On the wrong side of 45 myself, I had a hair appointment with my husband and 10 year old daughter. Yeah, I know we’re supposed to cut it short. But seeing as Mother Nature has been kind enough to keep my hair blonde all this time, I decided to flaunt it while I still have it. It was the least she could do given what she did to my neck and back.
I’ve been a hot babe most of my life. Still got some stuff to flaunt. Losing my sexual attractiveness is going to suck; no doubt about that. It bothers me more than the effect of aging on my health and job prospects, which is disastrous going on catastrophic.
I’ll throw just one more politically incorrect comment at you. I don’t get why women who could look really pretty go around with no makeup and gray hair. Do they not realize how short life is?
Enough of my ranting. Love the blog. Your book looks great, too. Best wishes-Kim Fogel.

Hi Kim, I'm the mother of one of Janice's highschool friends. I am 63 years old and look like I'm kind of in my 40's. My secret is I don't eaat meat I take a lot of vitamins I drink plenty of water, I run and do cardio most days, I lift weights to remodel my bones. You lose bone all the time after 30 or so. I also do Silva Mind Control and meditate for a few hours every morning during which I turn back my mental clock and say to myself I HAVE MORE ESTROGEN AND COLLOGEN. i AM GETTING YOUNGER AND YOUNGER, BETTER AND BETTER. I AM NOW 16 YEARS OLD INSIDE AND OUT. I HAVE THE IMMUNE SYSTEM OF A HEALTHY 11 YEAR OLD. I CAN LIVE FOREVER. You can substitute any age at which you pfeel you were at your best I thought I waste great at 16.
I feel that the world is a holistic place. Our bodies are primitive organisms that have been programmed to wear out at a certain rate for the sake of natural selection or something. But I am perfect as I am and can only improve. I am naturally selecting myself I wil not let my dna or my genes or public opinion determine how I age. Time is passing past my ass but entropy is not. I am a BABBY BOOMER The most egotistical self centered not ready to give it up group of people in the history of the universe I reign supremo over all I survey PEACE jANET wOLFMAN
