What the campaigns have taught me about writing

Spent all day trying to write a speech, to no avail. Just realized: I should write a story instead.

I have no doubt that you'll end up with something brilliant to share.

Are you going to incorporate any of your impersonations into your speech?

You can tell jokes, you can speechify. Stretch those muscles, and tell a story.

How about leading a sing-a-long, like you did on the subway that one time? Except nobody sang along but still different audiences respond differently. :)

Eh, you're old, so obviously you will never write again. But you were good when you could! (Of course I mean this in the kindest way possible. Of course.)

:)

yes, you best write a story!

and then share it with your adoring readers.

or not.

but only if you want to
and only if it makes you happy

cheers!
