So we're leaving town in the morning; we'll be back on Sunday, Dec. 14, when I'll be taking a cab straight from the airport to the Under St. Marks Theater, 94 St. Marks Place between First Ave. and Ave. A, for a reunion reading of girls from the group homes I lived in, including my old roommate Laura Albert. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the women I lived with in the Girlbomb years; they're all amazing women. Email me if you want to get on the guest list -- seating is extremely limited.
And speaking of amazing women, our dearest Georgia will be guest blogging this week! I hope you will treat her as you treat me -- by calling me a lesbian as though it's an insult.
Okay! Off to MouseFest, where I'll be signing books at the MegaMouseMeet on Sat. the 11th, 10am-1pm, Disney's Yacht and Beach Club. Do you hear that, IRS? It's a business trip!
I love Disney World! It's magical.
I remember the very first time that I went there, in the late 70's. When I saw Cinderella's Castle, I got misty eyed.
Take a ride on Space Mountain for me!
How about this:
it's a world of laughter, a world or tears
its a world of hopes, its a world of fear
theres so much that we share
that its time we're aware
its a small world after all
its a small world after all
its a small world after all
its a small world after all
its a small, small world.
There is just one moon and one golden sun
And a smile means friendship to everyone.
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small small world.
All that it takes is one ride and you can't get the song out of your head.
LOL!
Have a great time!

p.s.
No, I haven't memorized the lyrics. I cut and pasted them from a song lyrics website.
